Born in Lisbon to Angolan parents, AfricanGroove grew up in Benavente and was influenced by electronic music from an early age through friends and family. In 2010, he won the DJ contest at In Seven Club and has since established himself as a reference name in the national scene.

A resident at the renowned Club do Lago, AfricanGroove has 12 years of experience in the best clubs in the country, having shared the stage with the most respected national DJs.

His passion for electronic music is not limited to nightclubs. AfricanGroove is also a resident DJ at RES.FM, the largest electronic music radio station in central Portugal, with his AFRO.RES program dedicated to the Afro-House genre.

With an irreverent style and focused on pleasing the public, AfricanGroove conquers the dance floors with his infectious energy and his unique musical selection, which combines African and Portuguese influences.
