The word "Malokazana" is Zulu for Daughter or Sister-in-law.

In this track, the vocalist addresses a newly wedded daughter or sister-in-law, narrating her martial journey thus far. She is warned and reminded of the importance of her role in the family and community at large. However, it seems that despite the several warnings, it is acknowledged that most probably the union will be riddled with grave problems.

Essentially, the song is about a young woman who has just joined a new family through marriage.
