You may not be familiar with the name, but the chances are, you've already experienced the studio wizardry of Bristolian brothers, Mortimer. Known to their friends and family as Tom and Ian Griffith, the fraternal duo has already had huge music industry success under their legendary ICARUS moniker, boasting a wealth of chart-topping hits on the likes of Anjunadeep, FFRR and Future Classic amongst others.
Now, as they look to explore a different side to their ever-eclectic sonic palates, the prolific pair launch their eagerly-anticipated Mortimer project.
Teaming up with London-based R&B vocalist Jodie Abacus for the trio’s inaugural collaborative outing, Champagne Kiss, the result is a sun-drenched, summer anthem, primed for international airwaves. Combining the honed studio finesse of Ian and Tom with Jodie’s impossibly smooth topline, expect to hear this one on repeat over the weeks and months to come.
